Enrollment closes on May 31st.
Enrollment closes on May 31st.
Yes, you. It’s possible to define and hit those big goals while showing up with love and presence.
You’re in “React Mode.” The daily whirlwind of activities sweeps you away, and you end each day exhausted, wondering where the time went. You think you’re being productive, but it never gets you anywhere.
You’re spending your days doing low-value work (what I call $10 tasks), like:
You’re not new to productivity — you’ve tried plenty of things. That pile of barely used Moleskines, the abandoned whiteboard behind your desk and the countless iPads (with Pencil, of course) are remnants of all the things that were supposed to help you win back your time.
No matter how many Moleskines, iPads or fancy whiteboards you have, you can’t seem to get traction.
When the system wasn’t working, you ran out to buy a Shiny New Toy.
A new iPad Pro to do more Deep Work and boost your creative output.
A fancy Moleskine planner to finally map out your big hairy audacious goals.
An Oura Ring to prioritize getting 8 hours of sleep.
Or the software du jour, whether it was Roam or Notion or Things 3, which was supposed to fix everything. But it’s getting…exhausting.
You can’t resist the siren song of Shiny New Toys.
You smash that buy button.
Then you whisper to yourself, “This time is different.”
Yet deep inside you know that no app, book, smart watch, or cool notebook will create more hours in the day, improve your focus or give you permission to take that courageous first step.
If these are hitting home (or hitting a little too hard), you need to learn about the magic of doing $10K Work — the high skill, high leverage work that actually moves the needle.
What do those who are doing lots of $10K Work know that the rest of us (those stuck in Shiny New Toy Syndrome) don’t?
Here’s why the Oura Ring won’t make you sleep more and why the Superhuman app won’t make your boss less annoying over email:
But if you layer in key behaviors, self awareness, and tools, that’s where you start to see success. And that’s why I created a 4-week, cohort based, self-reflective course that’s designed to help you change your habits and get started with the right tools. Think of it as a “reset” of sorts — a chance to reflect on what hasn’t worked, come up with what does work, and build the system of your dreams.
You need a system to make those tools work for you, not weigh you down. And that’s what I’m here for.
I was once on the treadmill of high performance, achievement, and status. I had found financial success as an analyst at BlackRock, the world’s largest asset manager.
But I was obsessed with the question: How could I live a fulfilling and happy life — on my own terms?
I wanted the financial security to not worry about the zigs and zags of the stock market.
I wanted the discipline and focus to chip away at the “important, but not urgent” parts of life.
I wanted the patience to invest in myself — and play the long game.
And I wanted the courage to take risks. Whether it was putting myself out there for a keynote — or doing the unthinkable — walking away from a seven-figure Wall Street job.
For years, I felt like I was chasing a broken playbook.
I’d get a bonus…go out to dinner and get a nice bottle of wine, buy a new pair of Air Maxes, and maybe upgrade our hotel room for our next vacation.
And then four weeks go by, and my existential angst — the hole in my soul — would start creeping back in. It’d be like, ‘Knock, knock. You thought that bonus is going to make me go away. I’m back.’
Everything changed when my first child was born.
The last-minute Saturday morning meetings didn’t seem so important when they meant missing my daughter’s dance class.
Creating a 50 page PowerPoint deck that I knew no one would read, felt like a crushing waste of my potential.
So I quit.
I dedicated my time to a little passion project, the email newsletter called RadReads, which had 36 subscribers at the time.
Now, at 30,000 subscribers and a business that supports my family, it looks easy. But behind that simple before-and-after snapshot of my life, there was a lot of intentional work that was amplified by powerful systems and habits.
I was ‘building the plane as I was flying it’ while supporting our family of four with a portion of my savings.
After spending my entire adult life building this system on my own, I wished I would have had a course to guide me through all of these questions. But it didn’t exist during that transition in my life.
So I went out and built it.
I’ve taught this system to over 400 students, organizations and executives. I’ve written more than 200 articles on the topic of productivity. And now I want to teach it to you.
“I created a daily habit tracker for a few health indicators, and it helps me spot trends which motivates me to be healthier.”
In my twenties, the answer was simple (and embarrassingly naive). I wanted to make more money. I thought that the more time I’d free up, the more money I could make.
But these days, leveling up my productivity actually means making everyone around me better. (And yes, more productive too.)
I saw when I made myself more productive, I had more time for family and friends. I had more time to pursue the hobbies and activities that made me come alive. And when I started teaching this method, I saw students experience the same freedom.
My work has been featured in countless publications like the Wall Street Journal, CNN, Time, Barrons, Bloomberg, and TedX.
And I’m unwaveringly committed to students of Supercharge Your Productivity.
Teaching is in our family’s DNA. My grandmother, mom and sister have all taught their entire lives. Teaching people like you to level up their productivity is what gets me out of bed every morning.
A 4-week, live, cohort-based course to take you from overwhelmed and overworked, stuck on the hamster wheel while trying to keep up with countless deadlines, to being in control and living life on your own terms.
The next cohort starts June 1, 2021.
Learn the cheat codes, tools, and mindsets that enable me to live life on my own terms.
This course is the result of the systems I’ve developed over the past two decades. Systems that helped me become the youngest Managing Director at BlackRock (at age 31). And as a member of our 7th cohort, you’ll learn from a deliberate mashup of the systems that enable me to surf every day, even while my business grows, including:
I found ideas that worked for me (Essentialism and GTD), discarded the superfluous ones (Networked Thought, Zettlekasten) and developed my own framework for productivity success ($10K Work).
And now I want to teach that framework to you.
“It enabled me to focus, prioritize, and be more productive every day while executing on the ideas that I’ve had scattered across my notes and brain with no structure whatsoever.”
Director at Invesco
“It made me see that connectivity IS possible. It has given me room to invest more time into creating systems –because I know that the investment will produce value for myself, for my clients and for others.”
BRANDI THE GREATEST
Vice President at I Am Gym Foundation
Systems are the catalyst for transformational change.
But systems alone are not enough. You know better than most that a system without implementation and execution is nothing more than a collection of ideas.
And a system that doesn’t fit your unique skills, goals, and behaviors? Well that’s not going to stick.
That’s why, over the next four weeks, I’ll help you design and build an integrated system tailored to your tasks, your goals, and everything you consume digitally.
This isn’t another one of those courses that tries to help you shove a square peg into a round hole. It’s meant to help you carve out a square-shaped hole that fits you perfectly.
“As a solo-entrepreneur, time is my most valuable asset. But I would end my weeks and feel disappointed I didn’t get more done. The course’s templates and “$10K work” framework reshaped how I structure my weeks.”
“I now get more work done in less time, and feel less exhausted by Friday afternoon. Can’t recommend this course enough.”
Founder at Trapital Media
The canvas for this transformational system? We’ll use the powerful no-code tool Notion.
Don’t worry — this is not another Shiny New Toy. This time, I’ll guide you through the work of goal setting, reflection and system-building to integrate this into your life and make it work for your goals.
Other reasons Notion is my canvas of choice for myself and hundreds of students:
It’s free, and unlike other productivity tools that come with systems built in, Notion allows you to build your own system — one that works for you.
And if you’re going to learn Notion from anyone, I’m a good candidate. Not to brag, but I teach Notion employees how to use Notion (yup, they pay me to train new Notion employees).
“During and shortly after our cohort, I was getting recruited for a job and it was the first time I had been actively recruited like that…I made a page in Notion and listed out all of the pros and cons of leaving my old job for this new one. I hadn’t done that before because I never really had a forward-thinking system”
IT Solutions Program Manager
Supercharge your Productivity is taught as a mash-up of the Harvard Case Method, a coding bootcamp and a coaching engagement. (With the bonus of my hip hop and surfing references. Oh, and #DadJokes.)
By the end of Week 1, you’ll have a solid system for capturing and organizing your ideas, tasks, and all the content you read.
Once you’ve acquired these basic building blocks, the course opens up like wildfire. You’ll start grabbing a CRM template and duplicating it into your dashboard; customizing your quarterly reviews; and pollinating ideas across disciplines.
Plus, you have lifetime access to the recordings and templates — so there’s no rush.
“I’m making better decisions, faster and more confidently than ever before. The course paid for itself after the first class, but the value keeps growing every month.”
Founder at Catarina Ranch Investments
You get access to me, a private community of kind, high-achieving professionals, and live instruction for 4 weeks to build the system that will let you live life on your own terms.
The course kicks off with a unified framework to tie your daily activities to your life vision.
You’ll build your habit tracker. You’ll set your intentions for the year. And you’ll establish your “jar of awesome” so you can unlock happiness on tap — which past students say has been one of the most joyful parts of their week.
Templates Include: meeting notes, web clippings, and tickler files for managing up with your boss.
Stop chasing the dopamine and start doing the impactful work that scales. Work on your business – not in your business.
You’ll build a task manager inspired by David Allen’s Getting Things Done (GTD) methodology so that the right tasks find you.
Templates include: a CRM, applicant-tracking system and editorial calendar.
A detailed methodology to define and architect goals that can be measured over time. You’ll target the pesky category of tasks that are “Important, not Urgent” covering your health, finances, and most important relationships.
You’ll be introduced to Notion’s database functions that will act as the glue to your Life Dashboard.
Templates include: Advanced file manager, coaching/consulting dashboard, and product road map.
Ah, the weekly review: loved by many, executed by few. Yet for your new system to work, this habit change must stick. As a part of cohort 7, the private community will hold you accountable so you can really build this habit into a lasting lifestyle.
You’ll set your future self up for a win with a series of checklists, task views, and incisive reflection prompts — in less than 25 minutes each week.
Templates include: A finance tracker, investment research dashboard, smart reading list.
The next cohort starts June 1, 2021.
“I was totally baffled when I looked at Marie Poulin’s Notion setup (on YouTube). I have 50 pages of notes, that didn’t make a bit of difference! This course gave me a simple project to get me started with experiential learning.”
Industrial Designer and Artist
This isn’t just a series of recorded videos. It’s more like a group project where you all want to transform your lives. For good.

“Supercharge Your Productivity is my favorite type of course: it combines heart and brain, helping students introspect and find purpose via targeted tools and systems.”
Editor-in-chief at Psychology Today
Supercharge your Productivity is a live, cohort-based course that runs 3 times a year.
If you purchase the Elite Edition, you get to re-take ALL FUTURE LIVE versions of the course. (We’re committed to at least 2 more through February 2022.)
Students enrolled in the Essential Edition will have lifetime access to their cohort’s recording and modules — but won’t be able to participate in future live courses. You’ll have an opportunity to upgrade to lifetime during the course, but full transparency — it will be more expensive.
So if you suspect you’re the type of course-taker who likes to take your time, immerse yourself, and soak up the community beyond 4 weeks, the Elite Edition might be a great way for you to really commit to reaching your big goals.
Similarly, students enrolled in the Premium Edition will be able to take Cohorts 8 and 9 of Supercharge Your Productivity, both launching in the next 12 months.
The short answer? No. Notion is our chosen canvas for building your productivity system. 50% of the course focuses on the concepts, and the other 50% focuses on Notion.
While I don’t doubt you’ll get mountains of value even if you don’t touch Notion, I personally don’t like paying for things where I know I’m only going to use half of the course.
However, you don’t have to be in love with Notion to take this course.
If you’re willing to be curious and open-minded, you’ll get a lot out of this.
This course is about designing a centralized system to take control of your life’s biggest priorities. You’ll finally have one dashboard to manage your tasks, goals, and everything you consume digitally.
It’s a course about building a system in the Notion app, but it’s also so much more than that. It’s about organizing your life, and freeing up your time to do the high leverage (i.e. $10K) work you want to be doing.
It’s about as close to an in-person class as an online-course can be. Here’s how that’s possible:
For those counting, that’s nearly 17 hours of live instruction (if you attend one office hours each week).
This is in addition to a real-time Slack community with 10 alumni mentors, pre-recorded modules on every Notion feature, and deep dives into topics like Habits, $10K work, goal setting and weekly reviews.
We’ve been using this format long before COVID-19 hit — in fact, some university professors have approached us to learn how we built such an engaging learning environment.
You absolutely can, and that’s how I did it. The course taps into 500+ hours of research into Notion (not to mention studying productivity strategies since 2001) and then synthesizes it into a handful of relentlessly pragmatic modules. It’s a high-leverage (and time-efficient) way of achieving Notion mastery.
Are you interested in organizing and managing all the competing priorities in your life? Spending more time doing high-leverage work that moves the needle? If so, then yes, this course is for you.
We’ve had CEO’s, classroom teachers, artists, indie hackers, portfolio managers, politicians, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, philanthropists and everything in-between.
Notion is part of a movement in software development called “No-Code.” These apps are backed with functionality that lets you effectively build apps on top of them. Using a car analogy, No-Code apps don’t just give you the car, they give you the components (chassis, tires, transmission) to build the car itself. And this course will give you mastery of every component so that you can customize Notion to your own use cases.
Unlike other productivity tools, which enforce a specific system, Notion lets you build your own system to tailor your use cases.
Absolutely. The system you’ll design can support both personal life and work life. As an individual contributor, you’ll find Notion will quickly supplant any tools you use to draft, write, and organize your professional life. Yes, ideally your team will eventually use Notion – but getting your projects out of Notion and into other platforms is frictionless.
The course starts on 6/1 and the main live sessions take place on Tuesdays at Noon EDT and Thursdays at Noon EDT for four consecutive weeks. Replays will be available immediately after the live lecture.
60% of our students watch one or more lectures per week via replay. Replays are uploaded within 4 hours after the live session.
Here’s the course schedule, for your reference:
I’ll teach two 90-minute sessions a week for 4 weeks (plus an Onboarding Session on June 1st). Thursdays will be focused on the system and theory and Tuesdays on building the system in Notion.
The Premium Edition will continue on the Tuesday/Thursday schedule (at Noon EDT) for 4 more weeks (Beginning on July 1, ending July 27th).
The Elite Edition’s group coaching sessions will be on Fridays at Noon EDT (June 4, 11, 18, 25).
Every student will get to select their Weekly Office Hours slot with options across all time zones.
The newly released Notion API adds an entirely new layer of complexity and is not needed to build your productivity dashboard. (In fact, it can act more as a Shiny New Toy.)
Given the more intimate nature and longer duration of the Premium and Elite Editions, it will get covered.
How does forever sound? After enrolling, you have unlimited access to this course for as long as you like — across any and all devices you own. You’ll also have lifetime access to the replays, mini-modules, and templates.
Nope. It’s pure early-adaptor evangelism and me eating my own cooking. I am the “Notion Pro” for LA, which means they buy me pizza and send swag in exchange for hosting events.
I’ve spent years building up trust in the RadReads community and I’m not about to jeopardize this relationship. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, contact us in the first 30 days and we will give you a full refund – NO QUESTIONS ASKED.
We sure do. We encourage you to submit an application. The deadline to apply is Midnight EDT on Thursday May 29th. And we’ll let you know by Saturday morning if you’ve been accepted.
It’s definitely possible. Since we launched the course over 2 years ago, more students are getting reimbursed via their Learning and Development stipends. Here’s a reimbursement request form you can use and our team will help you compile all the information and documentation.

I see you at the bottom of the page, after reading about all that’s possible with an integrated system for achieving your goals.
I do that, too.
But if you’re here, all the way at the bottom of the page, it probably means you’re done with buying Shiny New Toys and crossing your fingers, hoping they work. You’re ready for support in living a fulfilling and happy life — on your own terms.
You’re ready to log off on a Friday and stay offline all weekend — without feeling the least bit guilty
You’re ready to never waste a day again
You’re ready to take control of your future
Heck, you’re ready to take control of your calendar and focus your precious energy on the right things
If you choose not to join this cohort and find other ways to build your personal system to reach those big, hairy, audacious goals, I’m cheering for you.
And if you join Supercharge Your Productivity, I can’t wait to help you stop spinning your wheels, find your unique skill set that you can leverage for $10K work, and live life on your own terms.
Welcome to the community.
